History of Inverness College UHI

Let's tell you a little about the origins of the college – where it all began.  Our first campus opened in 1960 and has grown significantly over the years with the addition of a specialist School of Forestry.  We also offer a variety of specialist courses to students on the west coast of Scotland from our Lochaber campus and we deliver IT short courses from the Falcon Centre in Aviemore.

Our courses range from four-week introductory programmes right through to three or four year degree courses, which means you can progress from one level to the next, step by step, gathering confidence and experience as you go.
