Who are Queens Cross Housing Association?
Award winning Queens Cross Housing Association is a registered Social Landlord to over 4 300 properties in the north west of Glasgow. A dynamic organisation with over 200 staff and a £50 million future development programme, we have ambitions to ensure the regeneration of the area impacts positively on the lives of our tenants as well as the homes and neighbourhoods they live in.
Part of the Community
For the last 40 years, Queens Cross HA has been at the heart of our communities delivering the highest standards of service and quality of homes through our investment and development programmes. Social regeneration, as well as place making, is a core driver of our work and our tenant led Board ensures that the views of the community are central to our decision making.
With a focus on the development of the Forth and Clyde Canal and the Scottish Government ‘s target of 35 000 social rented homes to be built over the next five years our challenge is to ensure these opportunities are used to underpin our aims to challenge poverty and improve health and wellbeing amongst our tenants. This is not insignificant as we have some of the highest levels of deprivation in the city. However, we have a motivated and skilled workforce, an informed and committed Board of Management and an active tenant body to support and drive our success.
