Aberdeen recruitment specialist Eden Scott have added to their team following an increase in demand from the Oil and Gas sector, expanding into the Technical and Engineering sector and adding to their Business Support and Office Services team.

Julie Ross, who has joined as a Senior Consultant, brings 17 years of recruitment experience to the Eden Scott team, specialising in the Technical and Engineering sector. Originally from Invergordon, Julie has worked extensively across the North of Scotland and in Houston, Texas before returning to Aberdeen in 2010.

The strength of Julie’s network within the Technical and Engineering sector across the North of Scotland is unparalleled and she will be a very strong addition to the team.

“I was very keen to work with Eden Scott after meeting Lucy and the team, they have some exciting ideas for Aberdeen which I want to be part of.” said Julie Ross

Jai Reynolds, who joins the team as an Associate Consultant from a national competitor where she worked as a Resourcer, brings a good balance of sales experience with a passion for business.

A North East local, Jai attended Aberdeen’s Robert Gordon University where she graduated in Law and Business Management and was keen to remain in the area to build her career.

“I joined Eden Scott with a view to building and developing my career in recruitment within a great team and company. Eden Scott provides a great working environment with a fresh approach to recruitment, encouraging a healthy work life balance and great development opportunities.” said Jai Reynolds

Eden Scott Aberdeen Divisional Manager, Lucy Nicoll, is delighted to have both Julie and Jai on board.

“We have enjoyed a strong year here in Aberdeen and Julie and Jai’s introduction to the team is testament to this. It’s vital we can support our clients across multiple sectors, allowing them a more streamlined approach to their recruitment needs.

The depth of Julie’s knowledge and expertise within Project Controls, Project Management, HSE and Engineering are impressive and we are pleased to be able support our clients recruitment needs here, as we see positive moves within this sector.

With our growth within the Business Support sector which has seen nearly a 17% rise in the last year, Jai will focus on serving our clients’ temporary recruitment needs across this sector, including, receptionists, office administrators and project administrators.

We are very excited to have both on board and as part of the Eden Scott Aberdeen team.”
