Eden Scott was delighted to be the main sponsor of a very well-attended Women in Banking & Finance reception at The National Library of Scotland on Monday 28 April 2008.  In addition to an inspirational talk by guest speaker Bridget McConnell, Chief Executive of Culture and Sport Glasgow, the Library presented a unique, bespoke exhibition from the John Murray Archive inspired by the stories of women who excelled in science, the arts, literature, travel and law despite the social barriers of their time.

Michelle Lownie, a Founding Director of Eden Scott and a committee member of Women in Banking & Finance Scotland commented: "In common with Women in Banking & Finance, we at Eden Scott are passionate about supporting and developing talented people to realise their full potential.  Our Financial Services Division, headed by Lindsey Boxall, is at the forefront of helping talented people, from entry level to managerial / board level, secure positions with some of the UK's leading financial services businesses. The reception at the National Library of Scotland which we sponsored was a great way for Eden Scott to demonstrate our commitment to this industry and our objective of helping people realise their potential."
