Food and Drink Success Gives Scotland an Economic Boost
The Scottish food and drink industry is flourishing. As recently highlighted in The Grocer magazine (1 June 2013), Scotland’s Food and Drink industry is set to reach its target revenue of £12.5 billion by 2015. Since 2007, there has been a staggering 28% increase in Scottish brands being purchased throughout the UK, along with a 63% rise in global exports.
