A New Force in Sustainable Energy
Brockwell Energy was formed in 2017 to raise the investment required to reinvigorate former coal mining sites and their communities around Scotland. Their main focus is onshore wind, energy from waste (EfW) projects and solar power.
Brockwell identifies and sources the funding to help innovative renewable energy project to come to fruition, supporting the Scottish governments low-carbon strategy.
As one of the largest investors in infrastructure projects across Scotland we have a number of key projects across the central belt and down into the South West of Scotland including:
- Earlsgate Energy Centre (Energy from Waste project, Grangemouth)
- North Kyle (Onshore wind farm, Ayr)
Brockwell Energy has a small but very capable team who are committed to its core mission. Brockwell Energy is now looking to grow their team and have a key role at the Earls Gate site.
Reporting to the Technical and Operations Director this is a unique opportunity to join an exciting and ambitious company with a great team of experienced professionals. EGECL is, owned by Brockwell together with two internationally recognised, entities. Construction began in 2019, with operations due to commence mid-2022. When operational the CHP enabled facility will be capable of processing up to 274,000 tonnes of waste annually and will provide heat and power to a private local network.
