What Are Dundee & Angus College looking for?

Dundee and Angus is one of Scotland and the UK’s leading Colleges with an outstanding track record in academic and organisational innovation. The College constantly strives to improve upon these attainments and the appointment of high-calibre, commercially-oriented professionals to the Executive Leadership Team are critical to its on-going success. There has been major investment in facilities and infrastructure with further improvements planned in order to enhance the student and staff experience.

Vice Principal (Curriculum & Attainment) 

The Vice Principal (Curriculum & Attainment) will be the standard bearer for the direction and quality of learning and teaching within the College and must display high energy and fresh, innovative thinking.  Experience in implementing change and leading large teams in achieving measurable improvements via a consultative and persuasive style is essential. The successful candidate must be highly credible in this specialist area and be able to clearly demonstrate a track record in delivering a curriculum that addresses the needs of students and potential employers and is delivered utilising modern and efficient methodologies.

Vice Principal (Corporate Services)

The Vice Principal (Corporate Services) is critical in maximising the financial and commercial strength of the College and is a key member of the Executive team, having influence over all parts of the organisation. As well as leading the finance function they will have significant strategic input on the utilisation of the many assets of D&A College and help create a long-term plan that ensures the optimum return on these physical and commercial assets.

The successful candidate may come from the public or private sector (or have experience in both) but they must bring with them a commercial mind-set and a personal drive that allows the College to continue its forward momentum.  A creative, decisive and inclusive approach, utilising the tremendous experience within your team, will best achieve the results required to keep Dundee and Angus College at the forefront of Further Education.
