Apsley Street music and coffee morning
We think you will really enjoy working with us at Hanover Scotland Housing Association. Here's one of the projects we get involved with.
Development Manager Susan McInnes runs a weekly coffee morning at Apsley Street in Partick. She introduced activities, quizzes and community singing in the lounge and encouraged volunteer befrienders to support residents who needed help to get down to the lounge.
Now around 13 residents come along each week - and some bring their friends too.
This gets them out of their flats – they are now chatting more and dropping into the office more. It is brilliant – I’m really enjoying it.
