Cauld Toon Beer
Cold Town Beer is one of Scotland's most exciting young breweries.
The founding team, who was born and raised in the bar scene started their journey from very humble beginnings in early 2018, setting up a microbrewery inside an old, empty church on Edinburgh’s historic Grassmarket. It was a small start, but you better believe that they were brewing up a storm to supply a few local venues.
Building a Full Range
After a few initial recipes and comments, they finally settled on a brew that came to be known and loved as their very own Cold Town Lager. They now have a full range of course which has been tried, tested, and reviewed by those who work closely with great liquids every single day.
An Ever Expanding Team
As more venues invited them to join the party, they quickly realised that they were in dire need of an upgrade.
So, they expanded into their main base of operations on Dunedin Street to enable them to supply a variety of bars and restaurants across the whole of Scotland. In early 2019 they transformed their first home into Cold Town House, featuring an evolved version of their microbrewery alongside some of the most iconic views of Edinburgh Castle from underneath the castle rock; it really doesn’t get much better than that.
