Collaborative Services and Responsibilities
Fife Health and Social Care Partnership is an integrated care system that collaborates with NHS Fife, Fife Council, independent care organisations, and voluntary organisations to enhance the health and well-being of Fife residents.
Fife Health and Social Care Partnership is responsible for the following services and functions:
- All adult and older people Social Work Services
- Community health services, such as district nursing, physiotherapy, and mental health services
- Children’s community health services
- Health visiting housing services, which provide support to vulnerable adults and disability adaptations
- The planning of some hospital services
- Medical care of the elderly

Strategic Planning
Every health and social care partnership in Scotland must have a strategic plan that outlines the vision and future direction of their health and social care services. This includes detailing how the nine national health and wellbeing outcomes for health and social care will be achieved locally, along with the six public health priorities for Scotland. Strategic plans are regularly reviewed to ensure they remain relevant to the needs of the area and its residents.
