Payroll Coordinator (Part-time)

£26000 - £29000 per annum + FTE DOE

We are delighted to be working with our client on an exclusive basis to recruit for a PART TIME PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR on a 12 months contract (maternity cover). This will be office based in Dyce and is a great opportunity to join a small and highly experienced team.

Part time - 22.5 hours per week

Duration - Maternity Cover

Main duties of the role include:

  • Preparing and processing monthly payrolls - including overtime, offshore payments, pension calculations and PAYE payments
  • Running month end and accrual reports
  • Handling of all employee queries relating to payroll.
  • Assisting with the payroll year end processes and production of P11Ds
  • Ensuring PAYE & NI payments are made to Inland Revenue and control accounts are reconciled monthly
  • Processing court orders, statutory payments, childcare scheme deductions
  • Maintaining related payroll records and reports.

Experience/Skills required:

  • Educated to Higher level in Maths and English (or other relevant qualification)
  • 2 - 3 years' experience within a Payroll Department
  • Experience of Oracle or other payroll systems
  • Knowledge of non-UK tax systems (desirable)
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Word and Excel
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
