ODx Innovations - Technical Data Reviewer

Based from their R & D centre in Inverness, ODx Innovations is an early stage company developing a highly innovative, rapid and cost-effective point of care (POC) testing solution for Antibiotic resistance testing. Entering the next stage of their exciting and ambitious growth, ODx are seeking an experienced Technical Data Reviewer to  support  the on-going development of highly innovative Medical Device products 

The role

Reporting to the Director of Product Development, you will have a highly varied role and associated duties and responsibilities including;

  • Evaluation, tracking and monitoring of data produced from laboratory and clinical testing
  • Supporting all elements of the development of medical devices through data interrogation, development and improvement
  • Support laboratory and clinical functions with specific data analysis requests
  • Analysing data output and undertaking product development and product improvements accordingly
  • Review and maintain a first-class standard of product data and ensure data loops are actioned effectively and timeously
  • Collate data / information for wider team / business review and feedback results concerns and risks, with associated suggested actions, to all stakeholder groups
  • Support laboratory and clinical functions with specific data analysis requests
  • Create presentations on data reporting and study outcomes for all internal and external stakeholders

Ideally degree qualified within a relevant scientific discipline, you will have a wealth of experience in data analysis, management, development and control within a complex product development environment. You will have a proven ability to navigate data and collate descriptions of experimental results using associated graphs and tables. Previous programming experience utilising Python, Matlab or 'C/C++' would be highly advantageous. Experience of product development within electro-mechanical product development is essential. Working experience within applied microbiology or data science would be a distinct advantage.
