Painter (2-Year Relocation)

The largest company in The Falkland Islands have been undergoing a recruitment drive within their construction sector, one of the requirements is for a Painter. They are looking for candidates to be based in the capital (Stanley) of the Islands on a permanent basis for two years.

The Client

The Falkland Islands Company was granted its Royal Charter in 1852 and since then has been supplying the Falkland Islands with a wide range of essential services. The company's main areas of activity embrace retail (including food, clothing, electrical goods, home furnishings, gifts and DIY), residential and commercial property, the sale and hire of 4×4 vehicles, travel services including flight bookings, airport transfers and luxury coach and walking tours for tourists, insurance, agency services for cruise ships and fishing vessels, and the provision of freight and shipping services to and from the islands.

The construction division of the company deals with a variety of projects, from home extensions to purpose-built executive homes, warehousing and offices.

The Falkland Island company provides the platform to make it extremely easy for you to make this initial temporary move in providing accommodation, flights to and from the island plus ensuring that all necessary paperwork required to work in the Falkland Islands is in place and these costs are covered.

The Role: Painter

One of the principal project requirements is for a Painter.

The ideal candidates will have relevant experience working within new build housing and be able to commit to working away for two years.

The successful candidates will receive an hourly rate of £16 an hour + benefits.
