Eden Scott is delighted to be recruiting an experienced HR Manager for our Edinburgh based client.

This is an exciting time to join the organization, in this stand alone position, to play a crucial role in the continued growth. No two days will be the same, as you balance the ownership of HR related policies and processes, act as the main point of contact on People matters for the wider organization and support the leadership team on overall people strategy.

In addition to the technical skillset, this role will require a positive, motivated and proactive approach, with the ability to maintain discretion in line with the level of exposure to the overall business operations

  • Develop and implement HR programs to create an efficient and effective workplace.

  • Provide business partnering on a range of HR-related topics, such as leavers and compensation, and resolve any issues that may arise.

  • Collaborate with the Financial Controller to support timely and accurate payroll, including staying updated on latest legislation and best practices.

  • Oversee new employee onboarding to ensure an exceptional day 1 experience.

  • Organise training & development initiatives supporting both employee development and succession planning.

  • Lead the performance management program including organising quarterly and annual employee performance reviews supporting the employee bonus program.


  • Proven experience as an HR Manager; CIPD qualification would be desirable.

  • Experience of working in fast-paced and small business environments, with the ability to embrace ambiguity and help support delivery across the business.

  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labour laws and regulations.

  • A proactive problem solver, with exceptional communication skills and a meticulous attention to detail.
