Hybrid Business Development Manager / BDM

  • £50000 - £60000 per annum + OTE, bonus, excellent benefits

Due to continued growth, one of the UK's award winning and leading investment management companies are currently looking for a hybrid BDM/ field based business development manager to join their team. Their proposition is very unique in the market and hold an excellent reputation across the industry. This is a rare opportunity to develop existing/ new skills as well as expand your knowledge and experience in a flexible working environment, along with helping grow existing accounts with full resource and support from their internal team. Responsibilities:


The right candidate will be responsible for a broad range of tasks and services including but not limited to:



  • Responsible for making and developing Financial Advisers relationships

  • Ensuring a high level of customer service is provided at all times.

  • Supporting external Business Development Manager

  • Being the point of contact for Financial Advisers enquiries.

  • Maintaining excellent relationships to increase business.

  • The opportunity to develop their area, expand their client base and take ownership of tasks.

Requirements:



The ideal candidate would ideally be an experienced BDM or account manager with a proven record of achieving results. Alternatively be driven and motivated financial services professional with sales experience in pensions and investments or perhaps a financial adviser.

Fundamentally they are looking for those with the resilience, ambition and commitment to excellent service, able to build relationships and happy to make external contact with those who may not be known to the firm. Exceptional communication skills are key, an ability to negotiate and use a range of influencing styles to achieve results and to build strong relationships with internal and external clients. Experience is key, but they are flexible over exams passed. In return they have an attractive benefits package, flexibility in basic salary but also an excellent bonus structure.
