Contract Opportunity: Infrastructure Project Manager (Inside IR35) - 6-month contract

Leading UK Bank | £440 per day | Remote - with occasional out-of-hours (to co-ordinate any releases)


Experienced Infrastructure Project Manager who can work in a fast-paced environment, leading a team to deliver cutting-edge infrastructure projects.


About the Role:


You'll manage a variety of Infrastructure Technology Projects. You'll lead and coordinate technical teams to deliver on key project milestones, ensuring that every phase-from initiation and design to build, testing, and support-meets the highest standards.

What You'll Be Doing:



  • Delivering on Time and Budget: Manage projects to hit timelines and financial targets, while meeting governance and regulatory standards.

  • Team Leadership: Guide and coordinate technical teams to achieve business and IT goals across the full project lifecycle

  • Implementation and Planning: Oversee the scope, resources, and schedule to drive project success.

  • Governance and Compliance: Ensure each project phase is fully compliant with our frameworks and guidelines.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a point of contact, identifying and aligning resources with project objectives

  • Risk & Issue Management: Handle issue resolution, risk analysis, and necessary escalations with skill.

  • Reporting: Provide status reports regularly to track project progress against goals.


Essential Skills and Experience:



  • Strong background in Infrastructure project management, with experience in project planning, budget oversight, and proactive monitoring.

  • Demonstrated experience with Infrastructure-focused projects.

  • A proven ability to lead multi-site teams of technical experts.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and guide teams toward a common goal.

  • Strong financial acumen and budget management expertise.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, especially when facing complex project demands.

  • Familiarity with collaborating with IT suppliers for project deliverables.


Desirable Skills:



  • Experience working in the Financial sector and the ability to translate technology challenges into business-focused language.

  • Recognised project management certification or training.

  • Experience with multiple development methodologies, particularly Agile and Waterfall.
