Excellent opportunity for an experienced Infrastructure Support Engineer with a strong background in SCCM and VMware to join our global clients' Infrastructure Team. You will use your expertise to manage enterprise-level IT systems while working with cutting-edge technologies.
About the Role
As a key player, you'll deliver 3rd-line operational support for backend IT systems. Your technical proficiency will ensure server environments, virtualisation platforms, and cloud solutions operate seamlessly.

Your Key Responsibilities:
- SCCM Specialist: Manage and optimise SCCM for efficient deployment, updates, and endpoint management.
- VMware: Administer and maintain VMware environments, ensuring peak performance and scalability.
- Windows & Active Directory: Support and optimise Windows Server environments (2016-2022) and Microsoft Active Directory.
- SAN Management: Oversee robust storage solutions like DellEMC, HPE, and vSAN
- Automation expertise: Develop and implement scripts and tools to streamline infrastructure processes (PowerShell, APIs).
- Cloud Proficiency: Manage Azure, M365, and Entra ID, supporting cloud adoption and integration.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure adherence to IT security protocols, change control processes, and industry best practices.
- BAU: patching Microsoft, Managing the infrastructure that everything sits on - applications, MFA, Monitoring across the estate - PRTG, Solar Wins.
What You'll Bring:
- Strong track record of 3rd Line Support
- Extensive experience with SCCM for deployment and systems management.
- Advanced skills in VMware virtualisation technologies.
- Experience in Windows Server, Microsoft Back Office products, and clustering technologies.
- Scripting expertise, particularly in PowerShell for automation and maintenance.
- Familiarity with SAN storage and cloud-based systems.
- A deep understanding of ITIL processes, incident resolution, and agile methodologies.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with additional automation tools Python, IaC.
- Familiarity with monitoring solutions like SolarWinds or PRTG.
- Knowledge of security frameworks, disaster recovery planning, and vulnerability management.
