Management Accountant

Eden Scott are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a Management Accountant, to join their team based in Clydebank.

This is a full time, permanent position with a hybrid working model (3 days in the office, 2 days WFH).

The Management Accountant will support the Finance Business Partner across all aspects of financial information including monthly reporting, reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting and ad hoc requests. The candidate MUST be at least 4 exams away from being Qualified, who is capable of hitting the ground running.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare monthly management accounts with supporting variance analysis and commentary


• Full responsibility for balance sheet reconciliations


• Prepare, review and challenge budgets, business plans and forecasts


• Maintain financial control processes


• Proactively suggest and implement process improvements


• Liaising with auditors both internally and externally


• Providing balance sheet and P&L analysis

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• At least 4 exams away from either ACCA / CIMA / CA / ACA


• Preparation of monthly management accounts, reconciliations, audit involvement


• Dealing with difficult stakeholders & communicating with non-finance stakeholders at all levels.


• High degree of problem solving skills


• Ability to hit the ground running
