Office & Facilities Manager

Eden Scott are excited to be working with a well known tech client in their search for someone to join their Workplace team on a temporary basis for 3 months initially.

Reception duties

  • Attending to all visitors/guests: welcome and greet; connect to the right employees, offer drink. Keeping an eye on who accesses the office (security including managing SwipedOn visitors system)

  • Directing couriers to the store-room, manage arriving contractors/suppliers

  • Helping those who come to the desk (ad hoc requests), triage requests/issues

Runner duties

  • The first person to be attending when an employee requires assistance.

  • This is also the person who should be working on tidying printing stations, stock management, room checks, putting parcels and food/drink deliveries away - anything taking them away from their desk/or reception area.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven background in Workplace / Facilities Management

  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations, with practical experience in ensuring compliance.

  • Experience in resolving complex facilities challenges.

  • Experience in fostering office community by organizing and managing events and workplace activities.

  • Demonstrated experience in influencing workplace programs and initiatives leading to workplace services improvements.

  • Ability to forecast and analyse budgets.

  • Experience managing contractors and service providers that support office operations.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint applications.
