Recruitment Coordinator

Eden Scott is supporting a client seeking a HR & Recruitment Coordinator on a 9-12 months contract basis. The purpose of the role is to primarily support the Department HR Manager, along with the broader UK HR Management and Business Partners team. Focused on front-line HR support, this role emphasises recruitment activities while also contributing to case management, absence monitoring, and general HR administration.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Assisting HR Business Partners (BPs) with tasks such as absence management, performance evaluations, contract management, and handling HR cases.

  • Taking the lead on recruitment efforts, including crafting job descriptions, drafting advertisements, formulating interview questions, screening candidates, and conducting interviews.

  • Identifying and utilising the most effective recruitment strategies tailored to each role.

  • Promoting the organisation's career opportunities to position the company as an employer of choice, including attending career events.

  • Providing guidance and coaching to managers on best practices in recruitment processes.

  • Ensuring accurate reporting of recruitment data.

  • Managing administrative tasks related to visas, work permits, and sponsorship requirements.

  • Undertaking and supporting projects as directed by HR managers.

Application Requirements:



  • Preference given to candidates with an HR or Business degree.

  • REC/CIPD qualification a plus.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in verbal and written communication.

  • Previous experience in HR administration or recruitment coordination.

  • Sound knowledge of current and upcoming employment legislation.

  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

  • Ability to cultivate relationships internally and externally.

  • Effective problem analysis and problem-solving abilities.

  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work with diverse stakeholders.

  • Resilience and adaptability in a dynamic work environment, managing competing priorities effectively.
