Cytomos is an exciting and dynamic early-stage company developing a ground-breaking alternative to conventional cell analysis systems to leverage cost-efficient microchip technology providing streamlined testing strategies and economically viable cell therapies.
Silicon Design Engineer
Reporting directly to the Head of Product Development, and working within a multi-disciplinary design team, you will contribute to the development of the mixed signal Cytomos sensor chip that forms the basis of the Cytomos instrument.
You will have an exciting and challenging role, your duties and responsibilities including;
- Planning, developing, implementing, and testing mixed signal ASIC silicon design
- Working to regulatory standards throughout the ASIC development life cycle (ISO9001)
- Creating and maintaining accurate documentation
- Performing design reviews
- Managing relationships with external contractors
Min BEng qualified in Electronic Engineering, you will be proficient utilising "Cadence Virtuoso" for Semiconductor analog schematic design, test, verification, and ideally layout. Additional experience in high frequency analog design, amplifier design and reference / bandgap design would be preferred, experience of mixed signal design and verification techniques a distinct advantage. In addition, you will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and have a passion for full life cycle development within groundbreaking technology for the global healthcare industry.
