About Macrobert Arts Centre
Macrobert Arts Centre is a cultural centre for Stirling, the Forth Valley, and Scotland that is situated in the centre of the University of Stirling. It actively connects people, communities, and ideas for enjoyment, welfare, and understanding.
Over 400 live performances are included in the wide range of activities they provide. There are a variety of options for participation for people of all ages, including comedy, dance, family-friendly events, music, opera, art exhibitions, and a year-round film schedule.
Equality, Diversity & Inclusion
Macrobert Arts Centre is continually striving to be more welcoming and inclusive; by tailoring its facilities, communications, and programming to each individual's needs rather than those of the majority; and to enhance its offerings not only for current clients and participants but also to those who have not yet had the chance to visit. Their most recent Equalities, Diversity, and Inclusion Action Plan is available here.
Environmentally Friendly
Macrobert Arts Centre owes it to the environment to conduct its business in the most sustainable way possible as a recipient of public funds.
They collaborate with Creative Carbon Scotland and are a member of their Green Arts Initiative to help them do this. Macrobert Arts Centre strives to integrate sustainability into every aspect of its business practices since they are aware of the negative effects operations have on the environment, including waste generation and energy use.
They actively advocate environmentally friendly policies, seek methods to enhance building management, boost efficiency, and prod people to "think greener." They also acknowledge that the financial viability of the organisation is enhanced by the cost savings brought about by their environmental policies.
