Recruitment Process and Brand Perception
Employer branding is becoming an increasingly imporant factor in attracting top-quality candidates to a business. Competition for talent is fierce and companies are doing everything they can to stand out in a crowded marketplace. An important, and often overlooked, aspect of an employer brand is the recruitment process itself.
To better understand the link between employer brand, the recruitment process and candidate attraction, we surveyed 1011 people in Scotland, with a focus on North-east Scotland and especially the Aberdeen area. It gave valuable insight into what candidates want in today's marketplace, and from a candidate perspective, it demonstrates how employers may begin to change their recruitment strategies over the coming years.
