I'm currently working with a global organisation seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to join their growing architecture team in Glasgow.

This is a newly created position reporting directly to the Principal Enterprise Architect, offering the opportunity to influence technology strategy, drive enterprise-wide transformation initiatives, and help shape the future direction of a complex international business.

The Role

As Enterprise Architect, you will work closely with senior business and technology stakeholders to align strategic objectives with technology roadmaps and architectural direction.

You will provide leadership across major transformation programmes, establish architecture best practices, and ensure solutions support long-term business goals. The role offers exposure across multiple architecture domains and the opportunity to collaborate with teams across different geographies.

Key Responsibilities

•    Develop and maintain enterprise architecture strategies and roadmaps
•    Engage with senior business and technology stakeholders as a trusted advisor
•    Support large-scale transformation and optimisation initiatives
•    Facilitate architecture assessments, planning workshops and governance activities
•    Ensure alignment between business objectives, operating models and technology platforms
•    Provide architectural oversight across strategic programmes and projects
•    Contribute to architecture standards, frameworks and best practices
•    Support and mentor colleagues to promote architectural thinking across the organisation

About You

You will be an Enterprise Architect who has experience operating within large, complex organisations.

You will ideally bring:

•    Previous Enterprise Architecture experience in a large-scale or global environment
•    Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF
•    Broad knowledge across business, application, data, cloud, security and technology architecture
•    Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
•    Experience translating business strategy into practical technology roadmaps
•    Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences

Candidates from any industry will be considered, provided you can demonstrate experience working within complex enterprise environments.
