A leading national wealth management organisation is seeking an experienced and client-focused Financial Planner to join its growing Central Belt team.  This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious adviser looking to develop their career within a highly respected business that combines the resources and opportunities of a national organisation with the support and culture of a local team.

The successful candidate can be based from one of the firm's offices in Edinburgh, Glasgow or Aberdeen, servicing an established client portfolio while identifying opportunities to develop new relationships across the region.

The Financial Planner will be responsible for delivering tailored financial planning advice to both existing and prospective clients, helping individuals and families achieve their long-term financial goals.

Working closely with a dedicated team of paraplanners, administrators and technical specialists, the successful candidate will be able to focus on building trusted client relationships and providing high-quality financial advice across pensions, investments, retirement planning, protection and wealth preservation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide holistic financial planning advice to a diverse client base.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional levels of service.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through professional connections, referrals and existing networks.
  • Conduct client reviews and recommend appropriate financial planning strategies.
  • Collaborate with paraplanning and support teams to deliver an efficient and seamless client experience.
  • Maintain high standards of regulatory compliance and client documentation.
  • Contribute to the continued growth and success of the wider Central Belt team.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience advising clients in a financial planning or wealth management environment.
  • Level 4 Diploma qualified (or equivalent), with progress towards Chartered status viewed favourably.
  • Strong knowledge of pensions, investments and retirement planning.
  • Excellent relationship management and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, professional and committed to delivering positive client outcomes.
  • Experience gained in either an Independent or Restricted advice environment will be considered.
