Eden Scott’s client who are an established Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) firm  based in Glasgow is seeking a highly organised and proactive IFA  Administrator to join our team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a professional environment and wants to build a career in financial services.

As a Financial Services Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting our advisers and ensuring the smooth running of client services.

Your responsibilities will include:

    • Prepare and maintain client files in line with compliance requirements.
    • Process new business applications for pensions, investments, and protection products.
    • Liaise with product providers to obtain valuations, policy details, and resolve queries.
    • Produce and check documentation such as letters of authority, application forms, and client correspondence.
    • Assist in preparing suitability reports and supporting documentation for advisers.
    • Maintain accurate records on back-office systems and ensure data integrity.
    • Ensure all processes adhere to FCA regulations and company compliance standards.
    • Monitor outstanding requirements and follow up promptly to meet deadlines.
    • Handle client queries professionally via phone and email.
    • Schedule client meetings and prepare relevant documentation in advance.
    • Manage workflow to ensure timely completion of tasks.
    • Support advisers with diary management and administrative tasks.
    • Assist with regular reviews and portfolio updates for clients.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous experience in financial services administration from a Financial Advisor or Wealth Management company
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with back-office systems (e.g., Intelligent Office) desirable.
  • Support for professional development and industry qualifications.
  • Friendly and collaborative working environment.
