Paraplanner

A growing financial planning and investment firm in central Glasgow is seeking a skilled Paraplanner to support its expanding advisory team. The Paraplanner will work closely with financial planners to prepare detailed financial plans, research investment strategies, analyse client information, and produce clear, well-structured reports. The position requires sound technical knowledge, strong analytical thinking, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, client-focused work. Hybrid working is available, with regular collaboration in the firm’s central Glasgow office.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth research across pensions, investments, and financial products.
• Prepare accurate, compliant financial planning reports and recommendations.
• Analyse financial data to support advice delivery and planning strategies.
• Work closely with advisers to ensure a smooth and efficient advice process.
• Maintain strong attention to detail across documentation and client files.

Skills & Experience

• Strong knowledge of financial planning, investment principles, and relevant regulation. 
• Excellent analytical and report-writing skills. 
• Relevant financial planning qualifications (e.g., Diploma level) are highly beneficial. 
• Strong organisational abilities and a methodical approach to workload.
• Confident communicator with a collaborative, client-focused mindset.
