LUC is looking for a Director of Ecology to lead its ecology services across Scotland and Northern England. The role involves strategic leadership, team development and delivery of high-impact environmental projects.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and grow ecology services across the region

Manage and mentor a team of ecologists and ornithologists

Ensure quality, performance, and profitability of consultancy projects
Essential

Proven leadership and business development experience

Strong knowledge of ecological policy and survey methods (especially in Scotland)

Excellent communication and project management skills
Desirable

Active in the Scottish conservation community

Degree-level education or equivalent experience

Proficient in MS Office
