With experience across the full supply chain, Peterson works across sectors including energy, agriculture, renewables and commodities, supported by a global network of more than 5,000 people who provide local insight and practical support in response to both commercial and wider challenges.

Peterson's Values
Peterson’s strong ethos and values shape how the business operates and the impact it seeks to make, with a clear focus on:
People
Provide a working environment where everyone feels safe, supported, and included.
Environment
Take practical steps to reduce the environmental impact of the business.
Society
Contribute positively to society through meaningful and ongoing engagement.
Corporate Governance
Operate with clear, transparent, and ethical governance practices.
Sustainability
Peterson’s sustainability goals focus on operating responsibly while supporting people, protecting the environment and acting ethically as a business. The company aims to embed sustainability into long-term decision-making and has set a clear ambition to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2040.
To support this, Peterson has begun implementing its net-zero and decarbonisation strategy, increased the use of renewable energy and achieved carbon-neutral status within its Energy Logistics operations. Wider initiatives such as cleaner fuel use and global tree-planting projects demonstrate continued progress towards reducing environmental impact.
Social Responsibility
Peterson has prioritised social responsibility through its commitment to living wages, investment in training, and a strong focus on health, safety and community engagement. Together, these actions reflect a practical and measured approach to sustainability built on continuous improvement.
