Project Manager (Contract)
Ellon, Aberdeenshire | 3–6 Month Initial Contract | Potential for Extension or Permanent Opportunity
Our client, a leading manufacturing business, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a range of projects focused on equipment installations, process improvements, safety, quality and operational efficiency.
Working closely with production, engineering, quality and HSE teams, you will take ownership of projects from planning through to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget and in line with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage equipment installation and upgrade projects.
- Deliver process improvement and productivity initiatives.
- Develop and manage project plans, budgets and timelines.
- Coordinate internal teams, contractors and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety and quality standards.
- Identify and mitigate project risks.
- Oversee commissioning, testing, training and project handover.
Requirements:
- Degree, HNC or HND in Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline.
- Proven project management experience within manufacturing, engineering or production environments.
- Experience delivering equipment installation or upgrade projects.
- Strong knowledge of HSE requirements, contractor management and permit-to-work systems.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and organisational skills.
This is an initial 3–6 month contract, with the potential for extension or a permanent position for the right individual.
