The Scottish SPCA was founded in 1839 and is 187 years young. Over 90% of the population of Scotland know and value what it does for domestic, farm, and wild animals.

The Charity employs over 300 colleagues and is supported by 900 volunteers who have joined the fight to stop animals suffering.

The Scottish SPCA is high on passion, endless in energy, and committed to ensuring all creatures are treated well at the hands of humans. It has a turnover of circa £20 million, made up mostly of voluntary income.

The charity operates animal centres across Scotland, including Inverness, Aberdeenshire, Glasgow, and Edinburgh, with a business office based in Dunfermline.
