A well-established and growing IFA firm based in Glasgow is seeking to appoint an ambitious and client-focused Financial Adviser to join its expanding team. This opportunity would suit an adviser with at least 2 years' experience gained within either an independent or restricted advice environment, who is looking to develop their career in a supportive and professional setting.
The successful candidate will work with existing and new clients, providing holistic financial planning advice across pensions, investments, protection and retirement planning. Importantly, there is no requirement to bring an existing client bank, as client opportunities are provided by the business.
The firm's structure enables advisers to focus on advising and developing client relationships, with the support of experienced Paraplanners and Administrators who manage report writing, technical research and client administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compliant financial advice tailored to clients' needs and objectives.
- Conduct client meetings and complete comprehensive fact-finding exercises.
- Develop and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Prepare and present suitable financial planning recommendations.
- Work collaboratively with the paraplanning and administration teams to deliver an outstanding client experience.
- Ensure compliance with FCA regulations and internal procedures.
- Contribute to the continued growth and success of the business.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Financial Adviser.
- Experience gained within either a Restricted or Independent advice business.
- Diploma qualified (Level 4) or working towards completion.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Professional, organised and client-focused approach.
- Desire to develop within a progressive independent advisory firm.
