Grid Manager – Renewable Energy Developer – Scotland 

Eden Scott are pleased to be supporting their Renewable Energy Developer client with the appointment of a Grid Manager to join their team. Our client are one of the most established developers of Renewable Energy projects in Scotland with a strong pipeline of assets coupled with significant repowering opportunities. 

The Grid Manager will come from a technical background and have an understanding of engineering and regulatory aspects. 

As Grid Manager you will:

• Provide grid input for new site search activities.
• Secure and modify grid connection agreements per project strategy.
• Negotiate grid technical requirements and prepare contract documents.
• Identify, challenge, and track grid liabilities; advise on connection agreement strategies to manage risk.
• Provide accurate grid connection cost information.
• Conduct grid connection feasibility studies for new sites.
• Identify optimal grid connection solutions considering operational factors.
• Ensure grid connection agreements align with construction needs.
• Collaborate with HV Electrical for Construction, Operations and liaise with Senior Grid Manager
• Manage grid-related contracts and act as point of contact with NESO, TOs and DNOs.

Requirements: 

• Degree qualified in an Engineering / Technical discipline 
• Experienced working on Grid Connection projects 
• Renewables / Transmission experience 

Salary: Up to £80,000 dependent on experience 

Hours: 35 Hours week
