  • Deliver compliant tendering processes in line with public sector regulations and governance standards
  • Contribute to contract implementation and ongoing supplier management activity
  • Work as part of a collaborative Category Team, supporting wider procurement initiatives where required

The work is diverse and often high impact, spanning areas such as digital and IT, operational equipment, protective clothing and specialist frontline assets.

Experience/Qualifications

  • CIPS Level 4 Diploma in Procurement and Supply (or working towards)
  • Experience delivering end to end procurement activity, including tendering and contract award
  • Experience working within a regulated or process-driven environment
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to influence and challenge appropriately
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver to deadlines
  • Working knowledge of public sector procurement legislation and best practice

Experience within public sector environments would be highly advantageous.

Salary/Benefits

  • Salary: £41,520 to £43,598
  • Annual leave: 28 days, rising to 34 days after 5 years, plus 6 public holidays
  • Pension: Local Government Pension Scheme, with approx. 6.5% employee and  generous employer contributions

  • Employee benefits: access to VivUp discounts, savings and salary sacrifice schemes
  • Career development: clear progression pathways, training and development opportunities, support for further professional qualification (CIPS)
