Our client is recruiting within their Infrastructure projects team for a Solicitor / Senior Solicitor (2-4 year PQE), the team is based in Edinburgh. They may also consider candidates at NQ level or more senior depending on experience. The role will involve working on complex and high value infrastructure projects across a number of sectors, including, healthcare, education, waste, streetlight and energy. The workload is interesting and varied with the team advising public sector bodies, funders and the private sector on projects from their origination right through to their operation. The work will likely involve carrying out due diligence on contracts required for the design, build and maintenance of projects (including contracts such as DBFM Agreements, Construction Contracts, FM Agreements, Collateral Warranties and Direct Agreements), drafting contracts in relation to variations at operational projects (including works variations) and providing advice in connection with procurement and contract interpretation The successful candidate will be based at our Edinburgh office. Hybrid working applies (50/50 split).
