A prestigious Independent Chartered Financial Planning firm in the heart of Glasgow is seeking an experienced Senior IFA Administrator to join its growing team. Working closely with a team of high-performing Financial Planners, the Senior IFA Administrator will play a key role in ensuring the smooth delivery of client service and administrative support throughout the financial planning process.
Responsibilities will include:
- Providing end-to-end administrative support to Financial Planners.
- Preparing and processing new business applications across pensions, investments, protection, and retirement planning.
- Managing client reviews and servicing requirements.
- Liaising with providers, platforms, and third parties to obtain policy information and progress cases.
- Producing client documentation and maintaining accurate records.
- Monitoring and progressing business through to completion.
- Assisting with report preparation and suitability documentation.
- Ensuring all processing is completed in line with FCA regulatory requirements and company procedures.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, advisers, providers, and colleagues.
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will have proven experience within a financial planning environment and possess a thorough understanding of financial services administration.
Applicants should demonstrate:
- Previous experience working within an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) firm, financial services provider, or restricted advisory environment.
- Strong knowledge of pensions, investments, and financial planning administration.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage a varied workload.
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive and client-focused approach.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Experience using Intelligent Office would be highly advantageous, although it is not essential.
