UK Upstream Tax Manager | Leading UK Energy Business | Aberdeen | Hybrid

As Tax Manager, you will provide clear leadership across the tax function, combining technical expertise with commercial insight. You'll lead with clarity, influence and integrity, driving continuous improvement whilst strengthening tax governance, controls and processes. The role will play a key part in ensuring a resilient, scalable tax function that effectively supports the business's strategic objectives and long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead UK tax compliance, reporting and governance

• Advise on transactions, investments and business initiatives

• Manage HMRC relationships and enquiries

• Monitor fiscal and legislative changes impacting the business

• Partner with finance and commercial teams to provide strategic tax guidance

We're Looking For

Strong UK corporate tax experience

Significant experience in UK Upstream Oil & Gas taxation (preferred), Ring Fence Tax & EPL

Commercial mindset with excellent stakeholder management skills

ACA, ACCA, CTA or equivalent qualification preferred
